Uniting Salem Early Learning is a friendly community based 55 place Not for Profit Early Learning Centre, caring for children aged 0 – school age. We recognize the many and varied routines of our families so we're open from 7:30am until 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, closed only on weekends and public holidays. We are located close to public transport and have on site parking.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced, motivated and passionate Director to join our centre in Kambah on a full time basis. To join us, you will need to be a passionate Service Director, ready and willing to provide strong assistance to our Room Leaders and develop excellent relationships with not only our children and families, but also key business partners across Uniting.

You will be required to support the service in the provision of high quality care and education for children while working within the requirements of the National Quality Standard and the approved learning framework whilst contributing to educational programs, facilitating play based learning and maintaining appropriate workplace health and safety.

Qualifications, skills & experience: Bachelor of Education or Bachelor in Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent. Approved first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis. Approved child protection qualifications. Solid experience as a Service Director. Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework inclusive of the EYLF with proven results. A dynamic personality, creativity and a clear passion for Early Learning Commitment to excellence in Early Learning and Child Wellbeing.
