Facilities Management - General Manager (Cape ToWN) - R75 000 neg, Century City, Cape Town. Salary Package: R75 000 negotiable (includes Medical Aid & Pension). Our client – a leading nationally based Facilities Management Company who lead through innovative and focused business solutions, providing sound and unsurpassed quality services are seeking someone who: Is a dynamic self-starter with proven ability to take the initiative and run with the job. Has excellent contractual and financial knowledge both in drawing up contracts and ensuring adherence to SLA agreements of each contract. Excellent problem solving skills – strategy driven understanding of  impact on finance, cost, staff, etc. Excellent people management skills across all levels. Strong conflict management skills – takes ownership in resolving issues. Strong escalation management skills - solution driven.

You will be required to: Apply insight and understanding to the general operational areas within the business. Manage operational business unit’s performance. Contribute to building the client base and portfolio. Ensure strategic client retention solutions and integrate these with the sales, business development, service excellence and people management processes.

Key Knowledge and Experience Requirements: Grade 12, Relevant Degree / Diploma, Min 5 year expertise at senior management level in leading large teams of professionals and staff, Good knowledge of soft and Technical skills in a Property and Facilities Management environment. General business acumen, and good understanding of corporate governance requirements and applications.

Profit driven, Sound knowledge of generating, maintaining, and managing contracts and SLA’s, Good financial experience in generating budgets, financials and income statements. Experienced in generating KPI’s and delivering on them. Good understanding of Corporate structuring, grading and staff deployment skills. Understanding of Employment Equity and Labour Relations. Understanding of financial accounting and billing systems and structures.
