Due to our continuing growth, we require a butcher to join our team.

The Role

As the butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and processing various cuts of meat, ensuring quality and freshness.

You should have a strong knowledge of different cuts of meat, as well as the ability to operate a range of butchering equipment and tools. Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to maintaining high food safety standards are essential for success in this role.

Duties include:

Processing meat to customer specifications, using tools such has grinders, saws, knives, slicers, etc.

Packing cut meats

Dispose of off-cuts, fats, etc., according to cleaning schedules

Cleaning and sanitizing all areas and surfaces

Fill in daily order forms and cleaning schedules

Skills/Competencies required:

Qualified butcher with at least 1 year' experience

Be able to repeatedly twist, turn, push, pull with hands and wrists.

Have a sound knowledge of food safety and handling

Be fit and able to stand for long periods of time

This role is Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.
