About the role
Main tasks: You'll be the go-to person for the company's independent dealer network, managing relationships, supporting sales, providing product knowledge, and ensuring dealers have what they need to succeed across a seasonal product range—heating in winter and BBQs in summer.
Other tasks:
Manage a network of 30-40 independent retail dealers across VIC, TAS, SA, and WA
Visit VIC dealers regularly and travel to interstate dealers throughout the year (WA and TAS twice, SA three times annually)
Ensure dealer displays are in line with brand expectations
Support sell-through with product training, promotional offers, and POS support
Liaise with the internal marketing and logistics teams to ensure dealers are fully equipped
Identify opportunities to grow the dealer base in both metro and regional areas
Work closely with the Head of Business Development & Marketing to deliver on commercial targets
Use a company credit card to manage travel and accommodation for interstate trips.

What you must have to apply for this role:
Proven experience in sales, account, or territory management
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate
Strong communication skills with a solutions-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
Confident using digital tools and well organized in your approach.
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
Experience with hardware retailers, appliance dealers, or lifestyle product distributors
Familiarity with seasonal product cycles and working across multiple categories
Proven ability to manage and grow independent or regional retail client relationships
Any familiarity with heating, cooling, or BBQ products is an added bonus!
