About the Role

If so, Greater Dandenong City Council has an exciting opportunity to join our customer service team on a full-time basis. As a first point of contact, you will play a critical role in supporting customers across all customer service channels, including telephone, face-to-face, and online interactions.
We are seeking a flexible, energetic, and empathetic person with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering excellent customer service to our diverse community.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following:
Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a confident manner
Patience, empathy, and the ability to meaningfully engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
Strong understanding of customer service principles and concepts
Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in a second language relevant to the community of Greater Dandenong is highly regarded
A driver’s license is not required, but the ability to attend various worksites is necessary
