Salary: 18.00 to 22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 80 to 90 hours bi-weekly

Responsibilities:

Handling animals

Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration

Track and report on current feed inventory

Weaning

Maintain financial and production records

Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed

Maintain livestock performance records

Maintain quality control and production records

Select livestock for sale

Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
