Salary circa $51,000 ($88,102 pro rata) plus superannuation and salary packaging.
12-month contract.
The Opportunity
CARE Australia (part of the CARE International Federation) is an international aid organization working to defeat global poverty by supporting women and girls to create lasting change in their communities around the world. CARE Australia’s Fundraising & Public Engagement (FPE) Department is responsible for ensuring the organization maintains a visible, engaging presence in the community, and our profile is leveraged to garner financial and other support from private individuals and organizations.
In this role as Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships Coordinator, you will work as part of a team of four to build strong relationships and partnerships with CARE’s private funders, including Gifts in Wills supporters, major donors, trusts and foundations, Private Ancillary Funds (PAFs), and the corporate sector.
Day-to-day duties will include:
Researching and identifying potential funders or supporters for CARE Australia
Creating funding documents, including reports, proposals, and grant applications
Coordinating supporter events
Managing data on third-party giving portals
Compliance and due diligence checks for funders, and more!

To secure this opportunity, you will ideally have:
Methodical and diligent approach to administrative tasks
Demonstrated experience of finding and qualifying prospective supporters or customers
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to create proposals and presentations
Strong computer literacy, including MS Office Suite, databases such as Salesforce
Interest in NGO sector and international development
Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
