About the Position

The Family Law Team is looking for an associate in family law to join the team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to develop a practice and work with autonomy, receive mentoring and training from a close-knit team, and work in a firm committed to innovation and ethical practice. The team are extremely passionate and well respected within the industry.

You will ideally have experience:

• Running property and parenting matters

• Appearing in mediations, directions hearings, interim hearings, conferences and instructing in final hearings

• Preparing court and other relevant documents for mediations, directions hearings, interim hearings, conferences, and final hearings

• Preparing Consent Orders, Financial Agreements, and Child Support Agreements

• Conducting mediations and other alternative dispute resolution events

• Working independently on family law matters and co-operatively on more complex family law matters

• Building networks, engaging with counsel and other stakeholders, and have a desire to build your personal reputation as a respected family lawyer
