Where you’ll be working:

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, Maternity Services. You will be working in a well-equipped, friendly, and comfortable environment that ensures the safety and well-being of both patients and staff. What you’ll be doing: You will join a collaborative team that is committed to providing top-quality care for expectant mothers and their babies and is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of midwifery practice.

As a registered midwife at our facility, you will be responsible for providing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers. Conducting regular check-ups and ultrasounds and monitoring the progress of pregnancies. Assisting with childbirth and supporting mothers during labor. Offering postpartum care and guidance to new mothers and newborns. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a high level of written and verbal skills with both patients and colleagues.

Computer literacy.

Recent experience and competency to practice as a midwife in antenatal, labor, birth, and postnatal care, lactation, and infant feeding.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

Current unrestricted NSW driver's license.
