About You
As a qualified and experienced civil engineer with extensive expertise in managing complex civil construction and maintenance programs, you will bring a proven track record of delivering high-impact infrastructure projects aligned with local government objectives. You have successfully led multidisciplinary teams under broad direction and consistently met project timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements. Your strengths lie in project formulation, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and providing strategic and technical advice across departments. You have a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, and you excel at building cohesive teams that drive innovation and efficiency. The Team
The Construction & Maintenance North (CMN) Branch plays a crucial role in driving capital and operational works projects across a predominantly rural road and stormwater infrastructure network. About the position
Join Toowoomba Regional Council as a Principal Engineer and play a pivotal role in managing and delivering complex civil projects and programs that directly support the region’s growth and community outcomes.
Based at the Crows Nest Service Centre, this is a permanent full-time position.
Offering an annual salary of $123,226.69–$138,941.51, plus 17.5% leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
An above-award salary may be negotiated with an exceptional applicant.
