About the opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled accountant to help our clients achieve their business needs. You will be working alongside clients and the team to achieve our key goal of providing client service.

Key responsibilities

Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, well, people!

Accurate preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for a variety of entity types, including SMSFs. Review of accounts and preparation or review of BAS and FBT returns., Preparation of taxation advice, including researching topics as required., Assist the director with strategic client meetings and ongoing business mentoring.

To join our team

We want someone who is adventurous, creative, and open-minded.

Have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in public practice accounting with a completed degree in accounting or a related field (this includes experience in a public practice).

Great technical knowledge across the range of business services functions (including tax, compliance, and accounting issues). Be an enthusiastic collaborator, with a drive to take ownership and responsibility over your own work. Have a positive, helpful, and solution-driven mindset. Be organized and able to manage your own priorities with tasks given to you. Commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing professional development. Confidence and professionalism in all communications, written and people skills.
