Position: Casual Medical Receptionist

Location: John Flynn Private Hospital, Tugun (Mon, Tue, Wed)

Pay: $29.00–$30.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts | Casual position.

Gold Coast Neurolclinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced medical receptionist to join our professional team at John Flynn Private Hospital, Tugun, 4224, Gold Coast, QLD. Availability

• Must be available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

• Working hours: 8:00 AM PM

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and managing reception

• Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments

• Billing patients and handling EFTPOS payments

• Scanning, faxing, and updating patient records

• Supporting doctors and the practice manager

• Checking and actioning emails and mail

• Promoting our practice to local GPs

• Managing referrals, theatre lists, and operation reports

• End-of-day billing and general admin tasks

What we’re looking for

• 1+ year of experience in medical reception/administration (essential)

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills

• Friendly and professional phone manner

• Confident multitasking and working under pressure

• Great communication and computer skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Experience with Genie software (preferred, not essential)

Work Location

Tugun: Monday to Wednesday

Work Requirements

Must have working rights in Australia

Relevant experience in healthcare or medical admin
