Studio Steel is a CC2 certified manufacturing and construction business on a huge growth trajectory.  Due to our reputation of delivering quality work, safely and on-time we have a huge pipeline of won work to deliver for large builders from the Northern NSW to Central Queensland and we need additional capacity from a talented Boilermakers / Steel Riggers to join our team. Please note - Applicants MUST have full Australian working rights and be living in Australia.

The key duties for these factory-based roles include:

Experience leading a team of onsite Boilermakers and Riggers

Experience with structural steel installations on construction sites

Ability to read and interpret drawings is critical

Solid understanding of safe on-site work practices

Ability to operate EWP's and/or Cranes to install and rig steel

Excellent communication skills to talk with other team members, clients, builders, engineers and other trades etc.

The following competencies are required

Safety focused - this is a non-negotiable

Ability to perform all the above key duties and have exceptionally high attention to detail - our game is one of millimeters

Must have a Riggers ticket to erect steel onsite

This role will be based on work sites around SEQ with some travel to sites in Central Queensland from time to time.
