Role Overview
As an Office Admin, you will support the Care For You at Home team with a focus on administrative tasks, accurate client data management, and effective program facilitation. Key responsibilities include managing elements of the Veterans Home Care program, providing backup rostering support, and assisting with various administrative tasks related to Home Care Packages and other government-funded programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support, including managing correspondence and preparing reports.
Maintain accurate and confidential client and office records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Assist with the efficient operation of the Veterans Home Care program and other business areas.
Support key programs, including Veterans Home Care, Home Care Packages, and NDIS services.
Assist with rostering when required and help keep the office organized.
Work closely with care coordinators, nurses, and community care workers to deliver great outcomes for clients.
Handle client inquiries and conduct intake assessments professionally.
Support staff with operational queries and facilitate effective communication between clients and care workers.
Provide out-of-hours/on-call support as required to meet operational needs.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and assist with compliance audits and documentation.
Manage general office tasks, including office supplies, mail handling, and maintaining a professional telephone manner.
Requirements:
Certificate III (or higher) in Business/Office Administration or 2+ years of relevant admin experience.
Strong computer skills (Office 365 and client management systems).
Working with Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening check
Current driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
Proven experience in community care operations within a healthcare setting.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively with effective communication skills.
What we offer:
Permanent part-time role
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am – 04:30 pm (flexible start and end times).
