Production Supervisor - food and beverage processing
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $40,000.00 Yearly for 55 hours per week, Medical Benefits, RRSP Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Leamington, Ontario (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Fruit and vegetable processing plant
Supervisory Experience: Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing, Testers and graders, food and beverage processing
Specific Skills: Co-ordinate work activities with other units, Establish work schedules, Inspect and review for quality control and environmental standards, Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers
Additional Skills: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions, CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) Regulations
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail
