Disability Support Worker, Future Butterfly, Frankston, Melbourne VIC (Remote), Aged and Disability Support (Community Services and Development), Casual/Vacation, $40–$45 per hour

About the role FUTURE BUTTERFLY is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Baxter and Endeavour Hills, VIC. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals with disabilities, communicating clearly and with great detail, and ensuring the people we serve live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Jobs Available:

Baxter, a male in his 60s with ASD, requires behavior management. Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote clients' well-being and community engagement. Monday and Thursday 8am-2pm and Friday 10am-4pm. Seeking a male support worker with experience with behaviors; closer to the client's age would be ideal.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the provision of safe and effective care. Endeavour Hills female, 9 years old, with ASD, defiance disorder, and behaviors. Monday to Friday 7am-9am school drop-off and 3-5pm school pickup. Seeking a male or female who can engage, cook pancakes, and relate to a young person.

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in disability support, community services, or a related field. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families. A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A current First Aid and CPR certificate, working with children check, an NDIS clearance check and a valid driver's license
