About Us

The Mind Spot is a growing boutique clinic in the beautiful regional town of Warragul, Victoria. We’re experiencing a growth spurt and are on the hunt for like-minded professionals who embrace neurodiversity and believe in guiding unique minds to thrive.

We support a diverse range of clients across the lifespan, with a strong focus on neuro-affirming practice. As a registered NDIS provider, we work extensively with neurodivergent individuals, ensuring our approach celebrates strengths, supports autonomy, and fosters genuine connection. We also see individuals who do not access the NDIS who simply need some support to navigate the complexities of life.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll:

Provide evidence-based therapy using a neuro-affirming, client-centered lens.

Confidently conduct assessments, write strengths-based reports, and set engaging therapeutic goals.

Work with clients matched to your skills and interests.

If interested in the dual role of behavior support, deliver functional behavior assessments and develop positive behavior support plans (extensive training and supervision provided if you’re new to PBS).

Build meaningful relationships with children, teens, adults, and families that empower growth and resilience.

Bring joy, curiosity, and creativity to your sessions—from play and art to problem-solving and skill-building.

Your Package

We believe in rewarding talent generously:

Base salary: $115,000 to $135,000: Early-career psychologists start at $115k, and experienced practitioners can earn up to $135k

Superannuation: 15% (well above the legal minimum; we support your future)

Total package value: $132,250–$155,250 + all the perks.

PD allowance: $1,500 per year + Paid PD leave days

In-house supervision (no cost to you)

Overheads and admin support are fully covered—you focus on your clients

Our Ideal Unicorn

Fully registered psychologist (AHPRA)—registered or clinical

Experience with children, families, and neurodivergent clients

Skilled in evidence-based approaches and open to learning new ones

Trauma-informed and culturally sensitive

Current WWCC, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening

Professional indemnity insurance

Full Australian working rights

Driver’s licence and own transport

Bonus points if you're already a registered behavior support practitioner

Extra bonus points if you’re an AHPRA Board-approved supervisor—leadership pathways available.
