Our commitment to quality care and inspiring environments has driven our rapid expansion, and we are now seeking a dynamic operations manager to take our success to the next level.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record in multi-site operations. This is a strategic and hands-on role overseeing centers in Shepparton, Sunbury, Melton, and Mill Park, ensuring each meets KPIs and reflects the values of Little Stars. You’ll lead center directors, drive operational excellence, and foster a thriving culture across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership: Conduct weekly visits to centers, lead effective meetings, and support directors and kindergarten teachers.

Maximize Profitability: Increase occupancy rates, manage labor efficiently, and improve center performance.

Lead and Inspire: Mentor center directors and teams to create high-performing, positive workplaces.

Foster Culture: Champion recognition, teamwork, and diversity.

HR Oversight: Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff retention.

Complaint Resolution: Handle escalated family concerns promptly and professionally.

Financial Management: Monitor P&L reports, manage debt recovery, and coordinate with finance, payroll, and contractors.

Marketing Support: Work with directors and marketing partners to deliver impactful campaigns.

Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with government bodies, ensuring all approvals are obtained.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in multi-site management (preferably in early childhood or related industries).

Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret P&L statements.

Proactive problem-solver with initiative and urgency.

Highly organized leader who achieves results through people.
