We’re looking for a passionate Motor Product Specialist to help us shape and drive the future of Suncorp’s Motor Insurance products. Sitting within the Consumer Prevention & Protection Portfolio, you’ll work across iconic Australian brands including AAMI, Apia, GIO, Suncorp, Shannons, and Bingle. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to exciting strategic initiatives, like the delivery of our next-generation Digital Insurer, while directly influencing customer experience and portfolio performance.

What You’ll Do

As a Motor Product Specialist, you’ll: Lead product development initiatives from concept through to implementation

Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities

Collaborate across diverse teams—Pricing, Claims, Legal, Marketing, Customer Serviceexe execute high-impact initiatives

Support design, refinement and execution of our products on Digital Insurer

Manage product governance tasks including PDS stream requirements and JIRA actions

Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and customer solutions

What You’ll Bring

To be successful, you’ll need:

5+ years’ experience in insurance, with an understanding of product cycles

Proven capability in product development, customer experience, or portfolio management

Commercial acumen and strategic thinking

Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in ambiguous scenarios

Strong communication and influencing skills

Experience navigating complex environments and change in a large organisation
