Barnardos Australia is seeking a dedicated educator to join our early learning center in Ultimo, 2007. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to be part of a values-led organization committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families.

As an Early Childhood Educator in our Preschool Room, you’ll use your leadership skills to inspire your team and support high-quality learning experiences, guided by our philosophy and the National Quality Framework.

Skills and Experience:

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).

1-2 years’ experience in an approved education and care service.

Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated experience in supporting curriculum development and documenting children’s learning and development.

Ability to relate effectively with children and their families.

First aid qualification that is approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) that includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management, and anaphylaxis management.

What’s on Offer:

Base salary: $36.12-$37.55per hour + 12% superannuation 

Salary packaging: Up to $15,860 tax-free (general living expenses)

Meal & entertainment packaging: Additional $2,650 tax-free per FBT year
