Full time, 80 hours per fortnight (with ADO)

Alfred Health's Occupational Therapy Services operates across The Alfred, Caulfield, and Sandringham Hospitals, with clinical services aligned to Alfred Health's strategic goals and operational performance targets.

The Occupational Therapy Service is committed to the provision of high-quality, evidence-based care and strongly values professional development and clinical supervision. Clinical service provision is focused on inpatient and home-based acute, rehabilitation, and aged care streams for diverse patient populations, including emergency, general medicine, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, trauma, spinal, amputee, and burns/plastics specialty units.

The Role

The Occupational Therapist—Grade 1 New Graduate (Rotational) is responsible for the provision of occupational therapy services within a designated clinical caseload, appropriate to their level of experience and competency.Six monthly rotational positions may include ABI, rehabilitation, and aged care caseloads at the Caulfield site, as well as the acute Occupational Therapy Service at The Alfred and the Community Rehabilitation Program (Caulfield). Rotations also include Parklands, the subacute aged care ward, which is based at The Alfred Hospital.

We are looking for a recently graduated (candidates who graduated from January 2025 onwards are welcome to apply), registered, dynamic new graduate occupational therapist to provide high-quality assessment and management of patients.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience Required

B. App Sc (OT), B. Occupational Therapy, MOT prac, or recognized equivalent. 

Full Registration held with Occupational Therapy Board of Australia at time of application

Recent experience working in acute or subacute inpatient services (either working experience or on placement)
