Offering up to 50P/H, including allowances, plus OT and superannuation for an experienced and capable tradesperson.

Highly regarded in the building and construction industry for excellence, Pruszinski Fabrication and Stainless Steel at Golden Grove in the northeastern suburbs is looking for a fit, casual/fully qualified, and highly skilled boilermaker/welder to join our friendly team, starting immediately with the option to go permanent after a reasonable trial period (rates to be negotiated, pending skill capability).

You must have the ability to demonstrate both fabrication and welding skills to a high-quality standard to receive this rate.

If you have just finished your trade, we will discuss rates further.

Both workshops (yes, 2 of them) are insulated and air-conditioned to keep you more comfortable on those warmer days.

We have a metal fabrication shop and a brand-new modern stainless steel and alloy workshop across the road.

About the role:

We do lots of interesting jobs, including prototype fabrication.

Every day is a new challenge—if you like variety, this is the place you want to work.

Normal hours are 7:00-3:30; however, we often have overtime (during the week mainly) starting at 6am and can finish later.

The occasional Saturday morning is not out of the question either.

Requirements include:

A white card (not the online version), forklift, and EWP are desirable, and a current driver’s license is essential.

Police Clearance and Working with children clearance will be needed

Stainless Steel Tig welding and polishing experience with hand-railing is required

Aluminum TIG welding essential for our current project

A LT or greater driver's license Highly regarded.

Must be able to demonstrate excellent MIG and ARC welding skills

Must be an Australian citizen—no overseas sponsorship offered

Must have completed your Trade certificate

Must agree and pass a full medical, drug and alcohol test

Required to work 5 days a week minimum
