CMH Electrical Industries is an expanding family-owned electrical company based in Ipswich servicing SEQ.

We are a versatile company specializing in industrial, commercial, residential, solar, air conditioning, maintenance, instrumentation, hazardous area, PLC, and design.

About the role

CMH is looking for experienced electricians to join our team within our commercial and residential divisions.

Commercial—installations, projects, and maintenance. 

Residential—installations (new builds), maintenance, and repair.

Solar (CEC accredited bonus)

Air conditioning (split system and ducted)

Training can be provided. Work is around Ipswich and Brisbane. (Start ASAP)

All roles are versatile roles if required assistance in other sections of the business. This also gives our electricians exposure to the wide range of jobs the electrical industry has to offer.

Training can be provided to the right candidate for SAA and solar battery accreditation if interested.

Required works include but are not limited to:

Solar Grid and Off-Grid Battery

Switchboard Upgrades and Rewiring

Electrical projects

Electrical Fit-out—Commercial/Residential

Electrical Maintenance

Data and communications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

A relevant qualification and broad experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs in Australia and up-to-date with current AS/NZS electrical standards.

Great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

100% commitment to a safe work environment

Ability to work independently and as a team.

Valid working rights in Australia and hold a QLD electrical license.

Skills and experience

Current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic licence

Current driver's license (Manual)

Understanding of electrical drawings and fault finding.

Proven electrical experience.

Solar Installation and maintenance (CEC Accredited bonus)

Current construction industry white card

Ability to travel when required with LAHA allowances

A thorough understanding of AS/NZS 3000 and other relevant standards
