About the Role

Climb Pre-Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and experienced Education Assistant (Diploma) to join our dedicated team. You’ll work alongside our Head Teacher and fellow EAs to deliver a dynamic, Reggio-inspired program for children aged 2.5 to 4 years old.

This is a full-time, ongoing position with excellent hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who:

Holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Has experience working with young children (2.5–4 years desirable)

Brings warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm to their practice

Communicates confidently with children, families, and colleagues

Can work both collaboratively in a team and independently when required

Supports our philosophy and contributes unique skills or passions (e.g., arts, Indigenous perspectives, sustainability, community engagement)

Has strong English communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence with digital platforms/social media

Essential Requirements:

A Genuine Passion for Working with and Educating Young Children

Current Working with Children Check

First Aid Certificate

Medical Clearance

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Teacher in planning and delivering an engaging, play-based curriculum

Document children’s learning and development

Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Contribute to the ongoing reflection and development of our philosophy

Engage in professional growth and development opportunities

Assist with maintaining a purposeful and aesthetically inviting environment
