About the Role

The Logistics and Customer Service Officer role plays a vital part in supporting our regional operations by ensuring meetings, events, and consultations are delivered smoothly, safely, and on time. From planning and coordination to on-the-ground support, asset management, and providing excellent customer service to our constituents, you’ll be at the center of making sure our services run effectively.

Working closely with the broader team, you will provide logistics support for meetings and events, manage vehicles and equipment, assist with hospitality and catering, and ensure our venues and sites are ready to welcome participants. This position may also involve the supervision of logistics and customer service assistants, as well as assisting with the induction and training of new staff.

What you will bring

You will bring strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate logistics, manage assets, and deliver practical support in both office and field environments. Your hands-on approach, flexibility, and commitment to teamwork will ensure smooth service delivery. With a focus on safety, reliability, and customer service, you’ll contribute to successful events, consultations, and regional activities across the NLC.

In addition to this, you will have:-

A current NTC Class driver’s license. Experience in driving 4WD vehicles is an added advantage.

Current Senior First Aid Certificate.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a similar role with demonstrated exposure to working in remote locations and challenging environments.

A level of health and fitness that supports working in a harsh climate and conditions, long-distance travel and camping, and working up to 12 hours a day.

We Offer

Full-time base salary of $68,986 per annum plus 15% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + meal entertainment and holiday accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.

Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:

District allowance of up to $9,750 per annum for individuals with dependents and up to $6,036 without dependents.

5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave;

Paid Christmas close down;

Upon completion of 12 months of service, an Annual airfare with a net (in-hand) value of $2,961
