Maharaja Karahi is an authentic Pakistani restaurant located in Padstow, NSW. We proudly serve only halal food and are renowned for our weekend buffet, offering traditional dishes such as Halwa, Nihari, and freshly made Naans. We are equally recognized for our dinner menu, which showcases the rich and diverse flavors of Pakistani cuisine, attracting diners from across Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook authentic Pakistani dishes in accordance with restaurant recipes and standards.

Ensure all meals are prepared in strict accordance with halal requirements and food safety standards

Assist with menu planning and seasonal dish development.

Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control are consistently maintained.

Manage stock levels, order supplies, and monitor kitchen inventory.

Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with regulations.

Train and support junior kitchen staff when required.

Skills and Experience Required

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.

At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen.

Strong knowledge of Pakistani cuisine and ability to prepare a variety of traditional dishes.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
