Position Summary:
The senior developer is responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that resolve customer issues and enhance our products. You will work closely with the support and development teams to investigate and resolve escalations, contribute to change requests, and provide technical insights that improve system performance and reliability. Communication with customers via Jira will form part of your role, along with collaborating with product and architecture teams on solution designs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop maintainable code that aligns with Janison’s coding standards, accessibility, and quality guidelines
Review code and provide constructive feedback to continuously improve team output
Collaborate in a Scrum team, actively contributing to ceremonies and sprint delivery
Work with the Scrum team to improve our systems and contribute to technical specifications where needed
Maintain skills and improve knowledge through self-education on top of any in-house training
Contributes to skills improvement of Janison staff through tech training sessions
Collaborate with our support team to assist with diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues in production environments during large-scale events.
About you:
Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.8
Good experience in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript practices
Good experience with AngularJS, Razor, and related web development frameworks
Comfortable working on both change requests and bug fixes within sprints
Effective at collaborating with support teams and providing guidance on code behavior
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a willingness to mentor and support others
Solid understanding of enterprise-grade SQL technologies and best practices
