$44.50/hr + Overtime opportunities + $5000 Retention Bonus QTY + Tool Allowance
The Opportunity
Maintain all aspects of heavy vehicles to relevant state transport legislation and standards
Maintain all aspects of equipment to the supplier's standard or better
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance services
Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults
Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment
Ensure all hand tools and equipment are safe to use and stored clean and correctly.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will have the following:
Certificate III Automotive-Mechanical-Heavy Vehicle Road Transport
Heavy Rigid license (as a minimum)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
