Heavy Diesel Fitter, FIFO 2:2, $85 per hour, Woodie Woodie Mine

Opportunity

Join a world leader in manganese mining at ConsMin’s Woodie Woodie operation—use your experience to provide maintenance support across a fleet of CAT and Komatsu equipment in a well-equipped, high-performing mining operation.

Duties:

Service, repair & maintain Caterpillar (6020B, D10T, 16M, 777G) and Komatsu (PC1250, PC2000) equipment

Diagnose & fault-find hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical & electrical systems

Conduct workshop & field maintenance with OEM standards

Maintain housekeeping, safety & reporting requirements

Experience Required:

Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate or equivalent

Minimum C Class Driver’s Licence

Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)

Strong diagnostic & fault-finding ability (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)

Product knowledge of CAT & Komatsu mining equipment

Aircon tickets are highly regarded

Roster & Pay:

2:2 FIFO roster (direct flights to site,  with a short  5-minut drive to camp)

$85 per hour casual with an opportunity to join the owner/operator full-time

$13.8k per swing with time off to enjoy it with family or friends
