About the role
Join us in this specialised role in managing lymphoedema as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
In this role, youll be part of the team providing comprehensive treatment for patients managing lymphoedema. Youll provide treatments to help reduce symptoms and stabilise the volume of swelling, to facilitate exercise and physical activity and to support the management of side effects of having lymphoedema.
This role is based at Daffodil Cottage a part of the Bathurst hospital Cancer Care services, weekdays and no shift work. The clinic is a 9 chair outpatient treatment centre, providing comprehensive care for medical oncology, radiation oncology and haematology patients.
Youll work collaboratively with a team that consists of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, haematologists, oncology registered nurses, oncology allied health and palliative care. In a collaborative, close knit team you will be well supported and your dedication will be seen and appreciated. You will be an integral member of the community where youll see the results of your care, build client relationships and see the appreciation of the community for the role you play in their health.
