About the role

Join the team at Dayboro Valley IGA as a full-time Grocery/Deli/Dairy Floor Person. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and presentation of the grocery, deli, and dairy sections of this local supermarket. Based in Dayboro, Queensland, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a community-focused retail business.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining well-stocked and organised grocery, deli, and dairy shelves and display areas

Assisting customers with product selection and answering inquiries

Preparing and presenting deli items such as sliced meats and cheeses

Ensuring all products are correctly priced and labelled

Monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishment needs

Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive in-store experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within a supermarket or grocery environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful attitude

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

A team player with the flexibility to adapt to the needs of a busy retail environment

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
