Happy, Healthy Pets – Privately Owned Small Animal Clinic

Senior Vet Nurse - Business Manager, Full-time, Point Cook

At Our Vet, we're not your typical veterinary clinic; we're an independent, privately owned network. We've built a supportive and welcoming environment where professionalism mixes with fun, teamwork, and a genuine love of animals. Our team is passionate about pets, dedicated to our clients, and always ready to support each other. Every detail of our clinics is designed with optimal pet care in mind, because we know just how important pets are to their families.

Our clinics are co-located within our high-foot-traffic PetO specialty retail stores. A family-run Australian business, PetO was created in 2007 and has recently gone through a successful phase of expansion. This partnership provides our clients easy access to trusted pet care, grooming, and retail under one roof. You are not just part of a team; you are part of a family.

Point Cook is a busy clinic, currently operated by a team of 5 with an experienced senior vet and a fully staffed nursing team, both permanent and casual. Our clinic presents room for development and growth in the caseload presently managed. Our clinic boasts a spacious reception area and waiting space, 2 consult rooms, a sterile operating theater, and X-ray and dental X-ray, as well as all equipment to run in-house pathology. We also receive regular visits by medical and surgical specialists, allowing the team to manage a broad range of cases, working closely with nearby hospitals for referrals and overnight stays.

Leading the team—mentoring vets, nurses, and potential students while building a positive, engaged, and supportive clinic culture.

Running the business side—overseeing the clinic's performance (P&L, budgets, stock management, rostering) and helping the team hit targets without losing sight of patient care.
