Job description:
The Role
Here at Masterpet we have a great opportunity for an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated Territory Manager with outstanding communication skills to join the sales team.
Reporting directly to the National Field Sales Manager, you will drive sales and margin growth through execution of channel promotions and sales initiatives and a focus on branded consumable lines to increase distribution into all supermarket accounts within the Canterbury region.
You will also educate staff on Masterpet's product range and ensure you utilize store review processes to highlight and address any commercial opportunities that will add value. As such, your strong relationship and communication skills will be critical to success.
No overnight stays required.
What you will do:
Present store reviews and customer insights;
Ensure national sales plans are effectively implemented and objectives and targets are achieved;
Manage display and promotional activity;
Achieve sales budget for your territory;
Achieve distribution targets for NPD and core lines;
Utilise data and insights to identify new opportunities;
Manage shelf presence across a wide variety of stores.
What we are looking for:
Proven success as a Territory Manager within the Grocery Industry is essential
Ability to demonstrate experience executing channel promotions and activities;
Ability to analyse and interpret scanned sales data—specifically Dunnhumby
Strong planning and organisation skills
Experience using excel and PowerPoint;
Business Acumen & Data Literacy;
Effective time management skills.
