The Role

The primary of focus of the role will be hands-on technician and assembly, commissioning and maintenance work with a secondary focus to include documentation and participation in risk identification and technical design feedback. Duties will include:

Construction and assembly of state-of-the-art technology

Various manual fabrication tasks

Aid in mechanical component design

Supporting both the Engineering and Machining Teams as required

Management of material store procuring spare parts and materials as required.

The Candidate

Strong mechanical aptitude ideally with some trade or tertiary qualification

Extensive manual fabrication and assembly experience

Ability to read 2D and 3D drawing with an understanding of the software used to produce them

This role will require a baseline security clearance meaning you will need to be an Australian Citizen with at least 10 years experience in Australia.
