The Team:
The audiology service at the Royal Hobart Hospital continues to grow, and new opportunities have arisen, with more hours available for a highly motivated, dynamic, progressive, and enthusiastic senior speech pathologist to join our team working in diagnostic and cochlear implant audiology.

The Role:
Provide and coordinate speech pathology services to clients seen in the Statewide Audiology Service (includes the Tasmanian Cochlear Implant Clinic and Diagnostic Audiology Clinic).
You will need:
Broad knowledge of and experience in providing pediatric speech pathology services within a multidisciplinary framework.
Demonstrated knowledge of the impact of hearing loss on speech, language, and communication.
Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgement and initiative to work with minimum supervision in a complex working environment

Details of appointment:
Permanent, part-time, day worker position, working 10.25 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $110,425 to $119,290 per annum (pro rata). Our employer's 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
The salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022

Allowances:
Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
Degree or diploma in Applied Science, speech pathology, or equivalent and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Current Working with Children Registration
