In this role, you'll have the exciting task of supporting nursing and midwifery strategic initiatives and leading the project teams in implementing attraction and retention through our graduate programs and international campaigns. Your expertise will be crucial in developing comprehensive plans, ensuring smooth execution, and maintaining compliance with the highest standards in collaboration with executive leadership and regulatory bodies while fostering a culture of excellence.
You will be responsible for professional and clinical governance of the nursing and midwifery workforce and work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Hospitals South, the Executive Director of Medical Services and Research, and the Executive Director of Allied Health Services to ensure continuity in professional standards and clinical governance arrangements across the entire clinical workforce.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full-time day worker (with on-call) position, working 76 hours per fortnight to commence as negotiated.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $198,428 per annum (Pro rata)
Our employer's 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
The salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
