Location: Brampton, ON

Salary: $18.00 hourly, 20 to 40 hours per week

Part-time leading to full-time

Day, Weekend, Shift, On call

Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

Advise clients on beauty care treatments

Analyze hair and scalp condition

Book appointments

Cut and trim hair according to clients' instructions or preferences

Provide custom hair and scalp treatment

Shampoo customers' hair.

Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages

Supervise other hair stylists and other staff

Supervise apprentices/students in training

Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair

Apply hair extensions

Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair

Suggest a hairstyle compatible with the client's physical features and preferences

Perform receptionist duties

Maintain and order supplies
