#AAA are expanding our team in Katoomba and the Lower Blue Mountains region and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join us in making a positive impact in our community.

We are open to applications from Occupational Therapists of all levels of experience that are looking for full time or part time roles.

In this role you will:

Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.

Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.

Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.

Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities.

Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.

Looking for a fun, collaborative and supportive work environment.

Demonstrated ability to work independently.

A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
