Business Development Manager-NDIS

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and experienced Business Development Manager to work in align with the Lighting lives values and work towards supporting the growth of our organization . This role is essential in broadening our impact and enhancing our service offerings.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and execute strategies to grow Lighting lives’ client base and expand service offerings.

Networking and new leads generation

Developing and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain and enhance strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and engagement.

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats

Ownership of new clients' intake and working with various external stakeholders for the smooth transition to the organization.

Serve as a key representative at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, showcasing our services and values.

Implementing marketing and communication strategies to promote the disability support business, including the creation of marketing contents, social media campaigns, and advertising.

Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators and business analytics to the management.

Work along with the management in identifying growth opportunities and

Developing and implementing strategies to achieve the business goals.

Prepare monthly reports as directed by management

All other duties as directed by Senior Management

The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:

A minimum of 2 years of Experience as Business Development Manager or a similar role in Disability industry. Experience in NDIS business development preferred

Relevant Diploma or tertiary qualification preferred

Proven experience to develop professional relationships that lead to business growth through new clients and client retention

Strong understanding of NDIS frameworks, particularly in relation to SIL, respite care, and in-home support services.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Development and implementation of growth strategies aligned with the organization objectives.

Experience working with vulnerable people and knowledge of varying degrees of disability.

A wide-ranging and working understanding of the NDIS, relevant legislations, and practice standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated experience in leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution and organizational skills.

Self-motivated, a positive role model with a ‘can do' attitude.

Innovative and out of box thinking to establish connections and follow-it up.

And must have:

Reliable car and current driver's license

Intermediate Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Social media to ability to prepare contents, ads and create traffic.

Hold or willing to attain NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working with Children’s check, Current First Aid Certificate, NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
