Bridgestone Select stores in Morley and Osborne Park are established mechanical workshop and retail business which carry out, upgrades, repairs, standard and log book servicing on all makes and models of passenger and light commercial vehicles.  We also specialise in performance and 4WD Upgrades.  With a strong commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we have built a reputation for delivering top-notch service in the automotive industry. We are seeking mechanics to join our team.  Will consider applications from fully qualified Cert III, VI and V Light vehicle mechanics.  The rates of pay will be in line with expectations depending on qualifications and exprience.

Hours 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, with overtime usually available

About the Job and Responsibilities:

We are looking for fully qualified mechanics only;

The ideal candidate will be adept at working with various vehicle makes and models, possessing a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems and components.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, basic and log book servicing, all mechancial repairs and upgrades on passenger and light commerical vehicles.

Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle systems issues, identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.

Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities, also using video tech checks.

Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements.

Be able to discuss with customers all matters reagrding their vehicles

Be able to provide good references from previosu employers

Qualifications and Experience requirements:

Must have full work rights in Western Australia. Non-Australian residents need not apply - we cannot consider applications from non-residents.

Proven/validated experience working as an automotive mechanic

Valid driver's license

Relevant certification - minimum Cert III LV

Proven/validated experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.

Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension etc.

Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Good admin skills, i.e. complete necessary documentation
