Reflection Psychology Group is looking to hire like-minded Psychologists who share similar values as we do as well as who truly value what we have to offer in helping you thrive in your work as a Psychologist.

In simple terms we are not a churn and burn organization with a primary focus on numbers but rather a couple of Business Owner Psychologists who have created a successful Psychology Practice that delivers on everything we have always wanted and needed as Psychologists ourselves for both ourselves as Practitioners and in turn for our clients.

For Psychologists:

Working as Psychologists can at times be extremely isolating and whereby imposter syndrome reigns supreme. We have therefore worked hard to successfully create a warm, friendly and professional environment where collegial support and connection helps our much-needed energy sources to be maintained as well as to provide the Professional Development we all always need. We run ongoing Reading Groups, Professional Development Workshops and ongoing ad-hoc and formal Supervision support. Social gatherings are just the icing on the cake to allow us to let our hair down a bit.

Working as Psychologists can often require higher than expected administration tasks in maintaining the standards we require for both our client work and for liaison with our clients. We have therefore spent close to 20 years developing and growing both systems and wonderful personnel to ensure that the highest level of support for both our Psychologists and Clients alike can occur. It is through our wonderful on-site Administration team made up of our fantastic Receptionists (most of whom are studying or connected to the Psychology field) that this is made possible.

Working as Psychologists we want to strike a balance between working in good structured systems but also to be able to have our own autonomy and agency of the work we do, and the client load we take on. We have created what we feel is a perfect balance between the two at Reflection Psychology Group.

Finally, as Psychologists we want to work in premises and consultation rooms that are perfectly fit for purpose. We have gone the extra mile to find and often develop clinics that create a wonderful ambience for both Psychologists and their clients as well as consultation rooms best suited both acoustically and aesthetically to allow us to thrive in our sessions.

For Clients:

We are a well-established group that through hard work and good word of mouth are able to consistently have a healthy and busy stream of clients best suited to our service provision. This allows us to match clients with therapists best suited to needs and expertise.

The wonderful culture of the team, the highly developed systems and administrative support and the ongoing Professional Development for our Psychologists has ensured that Reflection Psychology Group is a Counselling Destination and Mental Health Service that clients both trust and benefit from.

Work Opportunities:

We have opportunities for Experienced Psychologists to join our team in our recently expanded Camberwell clinic and our McKinnon clinic. We are looking to hire for contracting positions ranging from 2-4 days per week. We are looking for:

Experienced Counselling Psychologists

Experienced Psychologists who are passionate in administering Psychological and/or Cognitive Assessments for children and/or adults.

Required Experience and Skill Set:

Must have at least 3 years of Clinical Practicing experience as a Registered Psychologist.

Strong skills in being highly engaging with clients

Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with no conditions or restrictions

Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
