Welders and Boilermakers (Trades and Services)

Full time

48 to 50 per hour

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified welder / boilermaker to join our friendly team, starting immediately, with the potential to move into a permanent role after a trial period.

What we offer:

Competitive rates of 48-50 p/hr (rates to be negotiated based on demonstrated skill and capability)

Variety of work, including workshop fabrication, site work and remote projects in spectacular locations

Standard hours 7.00am-4.30pm with regular opportunities for overtime during the week and weekend work

Requirements:

Complete trade certification in welding / boiler making

Proven ability to demonstrate high quality fabrication and welding skills (tig welding is favorable but not essential)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work

Good communication and customer service skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Current forklift licence and drivers licence

Must be an Australian citizen (no overseas sponsorship available)

Commitment to working a minimum of 5 days per week.

About the role

Structural, repairs and maintenance work

Fabricating, assembling, and welding steel, aluminium and stainless-steel components to precise specifications.

Reading and interpreting engineering and shop drawings.

Setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment.

Conducting quality checks to ensure all finished products meet the highest standards.

Maintaining and repairing existing products as needed.

Collaborating with team members to achieve project success and efficiency.

Ensuring accurate and quality installation.

Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
