We are looking for an experienced Manager People and Culture to drive positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and support leadership to achieve organisational goals through effective talent management.
This is a permanent full-time role, based in South Perth.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional passionate about delivering contemporary and responsive people and workforce solutions who can think low and high, get involved, think outside of square and bring empathy, quality and care to every decision and action.
Key responsibilities:
Lead People and Culture team ensuring provision of timely, industrially appropriate and best practice advice, guidance and support on HR and employee relations matters.
Provide expert guidance and advice to Senior Leaders in complex employee relations matters
Drive the development and implementation of people and culture strategies aligned with organisational goals, and fostering a fair and respectful workplace.
Deliver people initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
Lead programs that enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning processes.
Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with legislation and reflect best practice.
Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the impact of people initiatives.
Design and deliver induction, training and capability-building initiatives to support staff growth and leadership development.
Oversee payroll delivery
Collaborate with safety and wellbeing teams to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Build, foster and influence effective working relationships and communication with internal staff, external providers and other key stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in HR systems, processes, and reporting.

About You
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR leadership roles.
Demonstrated substantial skills and experience in providing high-level HR,ER,IR advice, management and strategic direction.
Previous experience in mining industry or mining services is desirable
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
Have outstanding skills with the Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Operational knowledge of HRIS Employment Hero is desirable
Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cultural change and strategic HR initiatives.
