Compass Corp Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is seeking a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or qualified Tradesman to join our expanding team. Key Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration installation, service, and maintenance

Support the team in wiring, commissioning, and fault-finding HVAC systems

Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

Demonstrate strong organisational skills and prioritise key tasks effectively

Work collaboratively with project managers, technicians, and apprentices

Uphold a positive and safe team culture

Complete compliance reports and job documentation to company standards

Requirements

Positive “can-do” attitude with adaptability and initiative

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and well-organised

Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport

Legally eligible to work in NSW, with relevant training documentation

For Tradesman applicants: a current NSW Electrical Licence (preferred but not mandatory)

Desirable (for Tradesman applicants)

Experience with HVAC and mechanical systems (split, ducted, VRV/VRF)

Experience in wiring, commissioning, and troubleshooting control systems

Familiarity with AS/NZS 3000, AS 1668, and site safety requirements

Level 2 ASP qualification (highly regarded but not essential)
