Senior Researcher

Clerk Grade 7/8 position with a salary range $113,574 - $125,720 per annum plus superannuation
Temporary role (up to 30 June 2026) located in The Rocks, Sydney
About the role
The Senior Researcher is responsible for undertaking research to support internal and external stakeholders to inform decision making, support strategy and assess performance of DNSW activity.
The Senior Researcher role has a key focus on quantitative research, managing projects end-to-end and stakeholder relationships.

About You
You have experience managing and delivering research projects from start to finish, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and meet organisational and government reporting requirements. You’re skilled in quantitative research and analysis, with a solid understanding of methodologies such as brand and advertising tracking, campaign evaluation and creative concept testing. You communicate insights clearly, translating data into meaningful findings that support business decisions. Your ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships helps ensure research projects run smoothly and achieve their objectives.
Key knowledge and experience:
Demonstrated market research experience.
Demonstrated familiarity with brand, advertising tracking; campaign evaluation and creative concept testing methodologies.
Demonstrated project management experience delivering quantitative research and analytic reporting projects.
Demonstrated knowledge of a range of analysis and reporting techniques, technologies and tools including software such as SPSS/Q, Displayr, Qualtrics, Advanced Excel & PowerPoint.
