The Role
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role supports and maintains the site’s systems in these key areas.
You’ll help ensure the safety of our people and products through inspections, product testing, investigations, audits, and documentation, while fostering a proactive, compliance-driven culture across the site.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and improve Quality, Safety and Environment Management Systems.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and close out corrective actions.
• Ensure emergency readiness, training, and equipment maintenance.
• Manage environmental risks, including waste, wastewater, and reporting.
• Conduct risk assessments for tasks, chemicals, and equipment.
• Perform quality control testing aligned with ISO 9001 and BAM certifications.
• Identify and manage non-conforming goods and corrective actions.
• Conduct internal audits and contribute to management review data.
What You Bring
• Tertiary qualification in Science or related field (desirable).
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (desirable).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, construction, or transport.
• Prior experience in quality or safety roles highly regarded.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, HACCP, or GMP systems desirable.
• Strong organisational, communication and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
