About the role: We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Redland Bay. This role would suit a clinically minded, energetic, well organised pharmacist to perform a variety of tasks, including customer counselling, dispensing prescriptions, vaccinating, in-store medicine reviews, assisting with Webster packs and other duties as required. We are fortunate to work with an automated dispensary, come in and check it out!

Full Scope Opportunity: We have a number of pharmacists already qualified to prescribe hormonal contraception and a pharmacist qualified as a prescibing pharmacist.  We provide a collegiate, supportive environment and potential financial support for you to further your studies in this area.

Role responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

Counsel customers on their medical conditions and medications, both prescription and OTC, with the most up to date, evidence-based information

Execute health services to the highest professional standard

Build and maintain relationships with local health professionals

Supervise, direct and coach pharmacy assistants and intern pharmacists

Pharmaprograms and 8CPA claiming

Implement and follow QCPP policy and procedure to the highest standard

Requirements:

Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration essential

An ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health care team

Exceptional communication skills with customers and colleagues

Excellent time management skills are essential.

Qualified to give vaccinations.

Good rapport with customers and extensive OTC knowledge are also essential qualities.
