About the role

Joining a small, collaborative finance team and reporting to the Senior Accountant and supporting the Financial Controller, this role offers genuine variety and visibility across the business. You’ll handle the day-to-day finance operations while also playing a key role in supporting large-scale projects that drive business growth and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

End of month reconciliations including bank recs, balance sheet, PandL and billings review

Assisting with monthly and annual financial and management reporting

Maintaining and overseeing the fixed asset register

Supporting budget preparation and variance analysis

Preparing indirect taxes and statutory requirements including FBT, BAS, GST and Payroll Tax

Delivering accurate and insightful project reporting

About you

Ideally CA/CPA (or studying towards), you are an IT savvy accountant ready to take the next step in your career within a business that will invest in your development. You’re proactive, curious, and love getting involved beyond the numbers — the kind of person who enjoys walking across the floor to chat with operations to break down the financials and support their success.

You’ll bring:

ERP system experience, with Business Central and Power BI skills highly regarded (especially if you’ve built reports)

Strong understanding of accounting standards

Exposure to project accounting (a plus)

An analytical, hands-on approach with the confidence to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders
