About the role

maila's Bistro@Asquith Golf club is looking for a talented full-time Chef to join our team in Asquith, NSW 2077. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our customers in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.

Salary package: 73150 per year

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking high-quality meals following established recipes and procedures

Maintaining a clean and organized work station

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Providing excellent customer service and attention to detail

Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service

Assisting with inventory management and stock control

Participating in menu development and recipe testing as required

What we're looking for

Formal culinary training or a minimum of 2 years' experience as a chef in a busy restaurant or bistro environment

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards

Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

Relevant food safety certifications (desirable)
