We’re working with a well-established Tier 2 group who have a 10-year pipeline of high-rise and mixed-use work rolling out across Sydney. Right now, they’re looking for a Site Engineer to join a major high-rise project in the Hills. This role sits directly under an experienced Site Manager who values clear communication, teamwork and people who take ownership. It’s a stable, long-term opportunity with a group that actually keeps their staff.

About the Role

You’ll be heavily involved in the technical delivery of a high-rise residential tower with mixed-use at street level. This is a hands-on role where you’ll support the Site Manager with coordination, quality, setout and day-to-day problem solving.

What You’ll Be Doing

Work alongside the Site Manager with daily coordination, planning and communication across the site

Help manage site safety: keep SWMS and safety paperwork organised and join regular site walk-throughs

Maintain drawing registers and stay on top of all document control through the site systems

Coordinate RFIs, follow up site instructions and assist with reviewing shop drawings

Support the QA process on site — ITPs, inspections, quality checks and closing out any issues

Prepare and update OandM manuals, completion documentation and as-built drawings

Keep daily site records and logs accurate and up to date

Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and authorities for permits, notices and technical clarifications

Assist the PM and site team with programme tracking and hitting project milestones

What You’ll Bring

Trade qualification or degree in construction/engineering (or similar)

Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer or similar role on high-rise residential towers

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, QA and compliance processes

Confident reading drawings, plans and technical specifications

Highly organised and detail-driven — strong with documentation and follow-through

Great communicator who builds strong relationships with subs, consultants and the site team

Comfortable using systems like Procore, Aconex or similar

Proactive, reliable and committed to delivering quality work
